Stellplätze
Wohnmobile brauchen Stellplätze und Stellplätze brauchen Wohnmobile.
Stellplätze benötigen aber auch eine starke Gemeinschaft weil die Zukunftsaufgaben immer komplexer werden.

Vor dreißig Jahren entstanden die ersten Stellplätze in Deutschland. Heute verzeichnet man über 3600 Stellplatz-Adressen allein in Deutschland. Laut Definition des Deutschen Tourismus-Verbandes (DTV) sind Wohnmobilstellplätze außerhalb von Campingplätzen eigens für die spezifischen Anforderungen von Wohnmobilen und ihren Nutzern ausgestattete Übernachtungsplätze.
Reisemobil-Touristen
Reisemobil-Touristen sind Individualisten und traditionelle Campinganlagen können die Ansprüche nur zum Teil erfüllen. Und genau so sind die Anforderungen an einen Wohnmobil-Stellplatz in der heutigen Zeit.
Es gibt kein Schema F.
Deshalb ist jeder Stellplatz-Anbieter
Deshalb ist jeder Stellplatz-Anbieter ein Einzelkämpfer und hat regional mit den unterschiedlichsten Herausforderungen und Vorschriften zu kämpfen. Deshalb brauchen wir Benchmarking (sinngemäß „Maßstäbe vergleichen“) um vergleichende Analysen von Ergebnissen oder Prozessen zu schaffen und den Stellplatz- Betrieb zu optimieren. Auch neue Anlage benötigen dringend Hilfe und Referenzdaten.
Der VWS
Nun entsteht der VERBAND der WOHNMOBIL-STELLPLÄTZE der sich mit erfahrenen Machern der Stellplatz-Szene und folgender Agenda vorstellt.

Die Zentrale für Stellplätze
Der 1. Vorsitzende Hans-Jürgen Hess verfügt über eine mehr als 30-jährige Erfahrung im Reisemobil-Tourismus und hat die letzten Jahre für Europas größtes Reisemobil-Magazin “promobil” geschrieben.
Der 2. Vorsitzende Thomas Schröder ist Stellplatzplaner und Unternehmensberater, hat schon selbst Stellplätze betrieben und in den letzten Jahren mehr als 50 Stellplätze geplant.
Geschäftsführer ist Marc Jans, seit kurzem Eigentümer des Wohnmobilhafens Elbepark Bunthaus in Hamburg. Sitz des Verbandes ist Hamburg.
